Strict Precautions at the Port Container Terminal (ACT)

The Management of the Port of Aden held an expanded meeting attended by agents of shipping lines, representatives of the Ministry of Health, Immigration and Passports Department and a number of government agencies. The meeting discussed the application of strict precautionary measures that would ensure the smoothness and continuity of work in the Port of Aden in light of taking precautionary measures that would ensure the safety of the port and its employees and visitors. The representatives of the shipping lines carrying goods participated in the discussion that revolves around the importance of ensuring the continuity of the Yemeni citizen's needs for food and medicine. The shipping lines agents of the port expressed their response and willingness to deliver the message to the shipping lines by seeking to preserve the safety of the port and its employees, as well as the safety of the city of Aden and its residents and preserve them from the transmission or spread of the Corona virus. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Mohamed Alawi Amzerba, Chairman of the Board of Directors of YGAPC, Eng. Abdulrab Al-Khulaqi, Executive Deputy Chairman of the Corporation, Mr. Aref Al-Shaabi, General Manager of Aden Container Terminal, and his Deputy Mr. Fadl Al-Hujaili and a number of Departments'Managers at the Container Terminal.
