Signing Agreement for Tourist Pier Reconstruction

In the framework of the efforts exerted by the leadership of the governorate of Aden for the purpose of carrying out the work of restoration and reconstruction for historic buildings and facilities of Aden,

as well as those of institutions and government facilities, a meeting was held on Monday July 3, 2017 between YGAPC Executive Chairman, Mr. Mohammed Alawi Imzerba and Mr. Ghassan Al-Zamki, Deputy Governor for Projects Affairs. They both agreed that the Corporation would provide all documents and studies for the reconstruction of its buildings and facilities to the Governorate Authority, as soon as possible for consideration by the governorat to include them in their plans and programs of restoration and reconstruction, which is currently prepared by the governorate.

On the other hand, Mr.Abdul Aziz Al-Muflehi, the chairman of the local council, the Governor of Aden, signed an agreement on the reconstruction of the historic Tourist Pier at the Port of Aden, which is considered one of the most important landmarks of the port and the governorate. Al Khudairi Contracting Company will carry out the work at a cost of approximately 230 million Riyals under the supervision of the YGAPC Authority, where the work will be inaugurated within the next few days.
