The Prime Minister of the Republic, Dr. Ahmed Obaid bin Dajer paid an inspection visit with the Governor of Aden Mr. Abdul Aziz Al-Mufahli to Aden Container Terminal and was briefed on the 75 MW generators that arrived to the port
under a government contract with Bagersh and Al-Saadi to supply Aden with purchased electricity. They will be installed at Mansoura and Khor Makser stations to bring them into service as soon as possible.
He was received by the Deputy Minister of Electricity Mr. Mubarak Al-Tamimi, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of YGAPC , Mr. Mohammed Alawi Amzarbah and Deputy Governor Mr. Ghassan Zamaki.
The Executive Chairman of YGAPC briefed the Prime Minister on the mechanism of work at the port and its tasks during the difficult circumstances experienced by the country.
Dr. Bin Dagher stressed that the port of Aden is of great strategic and economic importance as it is considered an essential resource for activating the trade movement to and from Yemen. The government attaches great importance to the stability and continuity of the port's work to receive all commercial activities and food and health aids and send them to all governorates without exception. .
He praised the efforts exerted by the port staff, and directed them to redouble their efforts and work on facilitating the procedures of entering the goods without any delay.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by the Ministers of Higher Education, Dr. Hussein Baslamah, Education Dr. Abdullah Lemels, Justice Gamal Omar and Secretary General of the Council of Ministers Mr.Hussain Mansour
