The arrival of the first batch of WFP-funded container handling equipment

A number of containers containing cargo handling equipment financed by the World Food Program (WFP) were discharged today, Monday, November 30, 2020. These containers contain three Reach Stackers cranes designed to handle loaded containers with a lifting capacity of 45 tons, in addition to four forklift trucks with a lifting capacity of 4 tons for unloading and stuffing of goods in containers.

Dr. Muhammad Alawi Amzraba, Executive Chairman of Aden Ports, valued the contribution of the World Food Program (WFP) in enhancing the production capacity of handling at the Aden Container Terminal and Ma'alla Wharves.

While expressing his happiness at the occurrence of this event on this day, which coincides with the 53rd anniversary of the National Independence Day - 30 November, Amzerba takes this opportunity to congratulate His Excellency the President of the Republic, President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, may Allah protect him, the political leadership and our great Yemeni people.
