In its weekly meeting the Council of Ministers under the chairmanship of the President of the Council Mr. Mohammed Salem Basendwah stressed the take over of development, operation and management of Aden Container terminal by Yemen Gulf of Aden Ports Corporation itself or by Aden Company for Ports Developments contained in the settlement and transfer of shares agreements that have independent legal personality and recorded in free Zone as an investment project to replace the former operator in all processes for the terminal, and the rights and obligations.
The Council stressed in this aspect the importance of the use of consultants and international expertise to develop a vision of an integrated strategy for the post of the Port of Aden and its development to achieve the effective economic role for the service of Aden and the national economy.
